Professional Organizations & Activities: Peddle received her Illinois architectural license in 1926. Following that she travelled to Europe, studying and sketching the old-world architecture in England, France, and Italy. It was after she returned from Europe that Peddle, together with several colleagues co-founded the Chicago Women's Architectural Club. The group exhibited their work at the first Women's World Fair in 1927. Peddle was the editor of the Club's publication, The Architrave. Peddle taught for a time at the Art Institute of Chicago.
