Free Chicago walking tour of the Monadnock Building

During your 30-minute-long architectural walking tour, a professional tour guide will share the larger-than-life story and structure of the Monadnock Building, one of the oldest skyscrapers of downtown Chicago. This tour is free and offered weekly on Fridays from November 2nd until December 8th. Reservations are required!

An Illinois Humanities event that will include a panel discussion. This event is part of “The Country and the City program: Common Ground in the Prairie State?,” a year-long, statewide initiative will feature text-based discussions of issues that affect both rural and urban Illinois communities, involving panelists who are well-versed in those issues from both perspectives.
