Pleasant Home Foundation: HVAC Engineering Feasibility Study, Oak Park

Pleasant Home, also known as the John Farson House, is a National Historic Landmark designed by George Washington Maher and built in Oak Park in 1897.g The Pleasant Home Foundation was established in 1990 to restore the house and oversee the continued use as a public property and historic museum. In 2002, the Foundation conducted a comprehensive Historic Structure Report, which included significant detail regarding conditions and recommendations for improving the HVAC conditions. The Foundation is requested grant money for a feasibility study of the HVAC and engineering systems of the building.
