The site illuminates through text and graphics Chicago’s rich and varied collection of significant architecture and historic buildings and neighborhoods. The creation of the site demonstrates the City of Chicago’s commitment to engage the public in historic preservation by making readily available easy-to-use information that supports reuse and restoration of the city’s landmark buildings.
