Congress Enacts Preservation Easement Reform Language
On August 3rd, the Senate passed H.R. 4, an omnibus pension reform bill,
which included charitable reform language, and specifically language to
address abuses in the area of preservation easement donations.
The bill
had been passed by the House of Representatives on July 28th, and is
expected to be signed into law by the President.
