Oregon, Ogle County
Ogle County Courthouse Square District
The Scenic Oregon Foundation received a $1,250 grant in 2004 to help prepare an independent assessment of the historic commercial buildings fronting on the Ogle County Courthouse Square. The study helped stop plans by the Illinois Department of Transportation to reconfigure the intersection of Illinois routes 2 and 6, which would have demolished of two historic buildings.
